Chatwin Arts is excited to announce that Portland-based painter Jordan Kee will be at the gallery this Saturday, June 13th at 3pm for an artist talk to discuss his work in our current show, Unearthed. Kee will discuss his new surreal body of work, the process of painting with sand, and the influence of northwest mysticism in his paintings.

Food and beverage will be provided. We hope to see you there!

Our current exhibition Unearthed: Paintings by Jordan Kee and Sculpture by Tom Small is on view for another month! Come by for the first Thursday art walk tomorrow from 5-9pm to see the show in person.

At the heart of Jordan Kee's practice is a free associative process. His paintings don't immediately need to justify themselves. They exist freely, where meaning comes from seemingly no meaning.

Jordan Kee's Waking Sun is featured in our current exhibition Unearthed, which will be on view until June 27th. You can see this painting in person this upcoming art walk on Thursday, June 4th from 5-9pm.
