We are 15-years-old!! The very first Dare to Dance show took place on Dec 19, 2010... and was put together in only six weeks. It was so awesome that we had to keep going! To date, we have produced 15 full-length shows, including one virtual show (during the pandemic) and two groundbreaking "dancical" plays.

With much gratitude for all the dancers, choreographers, officers, volunteers, fans, and supporters throughout the past 15 years, we are now looking forward to the next phase of Dare to Dance Seattle. Please stay tuned for more exciting announcements in January.

A heartfelt “thank you” to the performers and audience members of SLEIGH THE NIGHT, a holiday variety show presented by Jack Mozie on Nov 23! The event raised almost $600 for Dare to Dance Seattle, and everyone had a jolly good time 🎁🎄🎉 Happy holidays!!

We are thrilled to receive a Gregory Awards nomination for Outstanding Production – Dance/Movement! 💖💖💖
This is our second consecutive nomination in this category, following last year's "Unstoppable: A Q***r Dancical." It is such an honor to be recognized by our peers in the Seattle theater community. We can't wait for the awards ceremony on Oct 27! ☺️☺️☺️
