Good reminder about space heaters.

❄️Cold weather reminder:

✅Plug space heaters directly into the wall outlet and turn off when you leave or go to sleep.

❌Do NOT plug space heaters into power strips or extension cords. Using an extension cord with high wattage appliances can start a fire.

✋Keep anything that can burn at least 3ft from heating equip (furnace, fireplace, wood stove, portable heater).

👩‍🎓 Do you have a kiddo graduating from college this Spring/Summer? 👨‍🎓 If so, now is a good time to chat about their personal insurance. When a kiddo graduates school, Homeowners, Auto and other coverages can change (or disappear) for them if they don't plan to move back home. If you are considering the purchase of a Hyundai or Kia, it's a good idea if you're insured with Progressive or State Farm to call your agent ahead of time to be sure they can insure the car.

Some auto insurers are refusing to cover certain Hyundai and Kia models | CNN Business Progressive and State Farm, two of America's largest auto insurers, are refusing to write policies in certain cities for some older Hyundai and Kia models that have been deemed too easy to steal, according to the companies.

A good reminder for home-owners: If you do a refi, please let me know. Unfortunately many lenders haven't been alerting us to the change until after the renewal invoice has already been sent to the old lender which can have the policy holder jumping through hoops to get their new lender to pay the bill. Feel free to email me if you swap lenders and I can help save you time (and gray hairs) with getting your account updated before your renewal.
