The Airshow Climate Action coalition began in 2023 as a collaborative effort among various Pacific Northwest groups deeply concerned about pollution and climate change. The coalition aimed to address these pressing environmental issues while also envisioning ways to make Seafair, a longstanding Seattle tradition, more representative of the city’s natural beauty and values. Through community engagement, advocacy, and sustainable initiatives, the campaign sought to promote environmental stewardship and inclusivity within the Seafair festivities.
