We are here to provide that space. What does being your authentic self mean? Your authentic self is the self that is true to your beliefs and nature. It is the you that you are in the quiet of your being where there is no influence of the societal expectations of the world around you. Who are you? You are who you say you are. You are your own truth. Be cis-gender, transgender, bi-gender, a-gender, gender nonconforming, Two Spirit, le***an, gay, bis*xual, as*xual, straight, pan-s*xual, polyamorous, monogamous, vanilla, kinky. Be anything you feel that you are. What if I want to keep my boxes? That is the best part of living your authentic self. You can choose to make what may be seen as boxes with limitations and expectations into the labels that you choose with your own definition. Labels are there to assist in creating community and develop a sense of pride in your own existence. Labels are defined by you for you. How can you help to provide this safe space for others?
