Please note: It's been asked if this pair can lie with other dogs. That is unknown as they have only lived with each other. They have never lived with or been exposed to cats either.
Today we're sharing a plea for 2 dogs in need of a home through Old Dog Haven. We know not everyone can foster but we hope you all will share them! Thank you so much, Friends.
PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED (in W. Washington state or Portland, OR):
Pair of senior longhaired chihuahuas, he is 11 pounds and she is 9 pounds, both altered. These two have been together all their lives and must stay together when their lifetime human moves into a care facility. They are used to a quiet home (and not used to a leash). He is friendly, social and forgiving; she is intelligent and active (and afraid of tall men). Both of them have moderate heart murmurs and some other medical issues to be addressed.
If you would like to welcome two darling seniors into your home as an Old Dog Haven Final Refuge foster, please read through the link below and then contact us.

Can anyone help?
We have an extreme emergency. Charlie Brown has been kenneled for the longest time now and is degrading quickly. We urgently need to help him.
Charlie is in Seattle. He’s a gorgeous border collie, labrador mix, 7 and 55 lbs of love. He is lovable and gets attached to his people. He is a dog with a simple goal -- spending time with his humans. He needs a home where someone is home more often than not, with room for him to run. He is a really good boy but doesn’t do well left alone for long periods of time nor crated. He loves to go everywhere with you - loves car rides, walks, runs, hikes, camping, backpacking, going to the lake, anything. At home he is a great at being lazy.
If you know of someone who loves to hang out with a pooch, Charlie would be in heaven.
Charlie is smart dog, knows many words and his favorite game is hide & seek in the house. The border collie part of him loves to herd so his soft mouthing at heels means he's keep his pack together. Charlie is good with most other dogs. He is not great with cats. Also, young kids tap into his collie nature wanting to herd them and it then makes it difficult for him to have kids running around on their own terms.
We are happy to help with training sessions.
