r genres. His music is frequently noted as fresh and exciting and in 2013, one of his arrangements was recognized by Rolling Stone Magazine as a "Mind-Blowing Cover". In 2016 he received the bronze medal in the Seattle Composers Alliance international call for scores with his string quartet, "Whitewater". In 2016, he composed an original score for "Wild Roses", the winner of Best Soundtrack, Best Editing and Runner-Up for the City at the 2016 Seattle 48 Hour Horror Film Festival. He has scored music for multiple other award winning short films and actively composes music for radio and television advertisements in the Seattle area. Jeff has dozens of published works and has received national recognition as one of the top up and coming marching band composers in the United States. Every year he composes approximately twelve brand new original shows for marching band that are performed internationally and also arranges for dozens of college marching bands across the country. From 2014 to 2016, he served as the music composer and arranger for the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps with his work being performed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Colorado while also being webcast across the country. He currently serves as the music composer and arranger for the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps, the Rivermen Drum and Bugle Corps and the Eruption Indoor Percussion Ensemble. Jeff currently lives in Puyallup, Washington with his wife and maintains an active schedule as a composer, instructor and guest clinician.
