3.5 years ago I moved to Washington. I started looking for people to play with right away, hoping to do something technical, whether math rock or some other prog subgenre. I had almost 2 decades of practice and hard work under my belt but very little of my *own* music to share.

3 years ago (almost exactly) I started playing with Andrew, and the music finally "clicked" after playing with a bunch of different people the prior 6 months.

2.5 years ago we played my first Tacoma porchfest as a last minute fill-in. Me and Andrew love jamming and could improvise for hours, so we did a mostly improv set but snuck in a couple of our works-in-progress. This was our first unofficial "Hard Softee" show.

Fast forward to now, where HS is finally a full band of absolute shredders, and our EP is finally out TODAY!

It took so much work, time, consistency, money, and community support to get here. While things aren't always ideal, I'm so proud of how far we have come, and I hope you all appreciate and enjoy what you can of my music.

This isn't the end of a journey, this is the "true" beginning. Today I show you all that I'm not just a good drummer, but a good musician..and an amazing drummer on top of that.
