Many of you know of the impact that MPC has in the community, and the amount of support it provides to community organizations working to meet the hunger needs of Seattle residents. Without
MPC many non-profit meal providers would lack the resources to deliver the meals that they do today.
As of this week MPC will no longer have the funds to meet its employee costs. Due to the chronic underfunding of emergency meal providers many MPC members rely upon MPC staff to provide community and member support services. Without this staffed position, MPC will lack the ability to adequately meet member needs, which will weaken the emergency meal provider system.
To help ensure that emergency meal providers have the resources to serve more than 3,000,000 no-cost meals each year, we are asking you to donate to MPC and help us keep our doors open.
All donations are tax-deductible and can be made at www.mealspartnership.org
Meals Partnership Coalition We would like to express our gratitude and sincere appreciation to our community who supported MPC through the GiveBig event.
MPC is still struggling to obtain funding to support the needs of non-profit meal providers in the community. We need your support! Please see our website for more information on how you can support the work of the coalition in the community, contact us directly if you can sponsor the operations of MPC for one week.

The Seattle Foundation | Meals Partnership Coalition Meals Partnership Coalition (MPC) serves emergency meal providers throughout King County. Each year MPC supports the work of more than 70 nonprofit meal providers in the service of more than 3,000,000 meals to those who would otherwise go hungry.
MPC is still looking for volunteers to help us deliver nutritious meals to the Nickelsville community down by South Park. Operation Sack Lunch provides a hot meal to MPC Monday through Friday, and MPC staff and volunteers deliver it. Without this meal delivery many Nickelsville residents including children and seniors would go hungry.
If you would like to volunteer to deliver a nutritious meal please contact MPC at [email protected]
