This past weekend, the Seattle Human Rights Commission had a successful annual retreat. Commission leadership changed hands from Co-Chairs Avery Hultgren, Phil Lewis and Bryennah Quander to new Vice Chair Beverly Smith and Chair Gwen McCullough.
Former Co-Chair Hultgren was elected Treasurer, and former Co-Chair Quander was elected to Chair our Events Committee.
New SHRC Leadership are overseeing a reorganization to streamline our processes and better engage and serve Seattle. We're looking forward to an exciting new year! If you would like to join us in our work supporting human rights for Seattle, we encourage you to apply!
