The Georgetown Farmers Market poster is live, and it's now up and around town! Also, be sure to check out the centerfold of The Stranger's Spring Arts & Performance edition for an entire spread celebrating our amazing Georgetown businesses! ♥︎

A lot of work went into the creation of this poster, and I'm so excited about how it turned out. For those who didn't see my last post, the hat and boots are Georgetown landmarks located at Oxbow Park. The cornucopia is, of course, filled with all kinds of delicious Farmers Market goodies. The banana slug, which I consider to be the ultimate PNW mascot, is wearing a constructed cornucopia of its own creation: a shout-out to the incredible artists, makers, and fabricators that comprise our beautiful community. Through art, all things are possible; if a slug wants to become a snail, it's up to you to find a creative way to make it happen ♥︎

I also included a layout of some of my many drafts and final paintings that went into this project. In fact, there's an entirely different horizontal poster layout too! I designed and inked the 'Georgetown' font myself (after many, many drafts), and the background is the pink and purple sky painting shown in the layouts. Proud to say that absolutely none of this was AI. Absolutely everything was drawn, painted, and then compiled in Photoshop by yours truly. ♥︎
