We offer intensive writing workshops, personal reentry preparation (PREP) courses, health and wellness classes, and mentorship opportunities to currently-incarcerated women to help them reflect on their lives, reconcile with their pasts, and create plans for their futures. Upon release, IF stands by our members with specialized case management to provide individualized support as they search for jobs or go back to school, find housing and transportation, seek out behavioral healthcare, and reunite with their families. Most of all, IF gives the emotional support and encouragement our participants need to keep going, even when things are difficult. The deep personal relationships we have with our members and our concern for their human rights continually push us to advocate for them in the community and at every level of government.
