On Thursday, October 9th, we’re celebrating 15 years of Totem Star with The Spotlight, our annual fundraiser that brings together artists, community leaders, and supporters to uplift Seattle’s youth musicians.

Meet your Spotlight Hosts of 2025: Totem Star Artists and Staff Members, Mirabai Kukathas and Amy Hall!
Mirabai serves as our Individual Giving & Grants Associate, and Amy is our Events & Communications Associate. Both are also longtime Totem Star artists who have grown within this community as musicians, leaders, and friends. Together they bring heart, humor, and lived experience to the stage, ready to guide us through an evening of music, storytelling, and celebration.
They can’t wait to welcome you, share what Totem Star has been up to, and spotlight the incredible artists at the center of our 15-year journey!
