Gems, a Seattle based rock band, lays down deep danceable grooves full of twists and turns underneath a canopy of haunting synthesized mayhem unlike anything you've ever heard. Two drummers, Adrian Van Batenburg and Jacob Evans, provide the foundation of syncopated interweaving rhythms, while two keyboardists, Gary Palmer and Dan Rapport, build melodic and bass heavy songs around it.
