In addition, we are proud to work with numerous local service providers and their outreach staff - all of whom provide local content, input and review to keep our work relevant, effective, and compassionate. Finally, our team performs regular research and outreach to people experiencing homelessness so we may better know our methods, the people we hope to help, and the reasons we have created WeCount. WeCount was founded in Spring of 2015 to solve outreach challenges experienced by social service providers using mobile technology. WeCount is an easy-to-use and free tool to for the public to identify needs and offer assistance that can help individuals and families. Our ideal users are everyone - from a person that wants to assist the man who asks for change at their corner, to the police officer that wants to provide information to help someone in need, to agencies that wants to empower their outreach workers with wrap-around services, to the person who wants to learn more about getting or giving aid in their neighborhood. Jonathan Sposato, co-founder, is a successful entrepreneur and investor who brings decades of consumer product development and management experience. A co-founder of Geek Wire Magazine, PicMonkey, and Picnik, Jonathan is regarded as the only person to sell two businesses to Google, as well as a leader in socially-conscious investing and development. Graham Pruss, co-founder, is an anthropologist who researches homelessness in the United States, has directed street outreach and community meals to people experiencing homeless, and draws from personal experiences as a former teen parent and runaway. Graham brings a decade of hardware and software development experience, an insider knowledge of social service needs and delivery, and sits on the Executive Committee of the federally mandated agency that oversees social services funding in King County, the AllHome Coalition.
