Over the weekend we completed the installation of the salvaged Alaskan Way Viaduct sign bridge on Bell Street.

Thank you to our team for their careful work to restore and install the sign bridge. A part of Seattle’s past now has new life in Belltown. Our work is not done - we are installing lighting for the sign bridge and anticipate its completion in the coming weeks.

Come to this can’t miss opportunity! Following Ann Hamilton’s talk at the Seattle Art Museum (sold out), we are hosting a drop-in meet and greet at Ann Hamilton’s publicly sited artwork “Guests,” located underneath Overlook Walk, between 8 and 9 PM this Thursday, February 12. Drop in anytime for a chance to chat with Ann Hamilton, enjoy refreshments from Boon Boona Coffee, and see a unique view of the artwork behind the screen wall. No RSVP is needed. Hope to see you there!

This artwork is one of nine permanent art commissions included in Waterfront Seattle’s Art Program. Artworks are funded with 1% for Art funds and administered by the Office of Arts & Culture and the Office of the Waterfront, Civic Projects, and Sound Transit.

We are excited to celebrate the opening of Boon Boona on Seattle’s waterfront this Saturday! We designed the waterfront to be a welcoming place where people can gather, connect, and support local businesses. Seeing Boon Boona bring energy to Overlook Walk and offer people a place to relax and enjoy the views of Elliott Bay is exactly what this space was meant for.

We invite you to stop by early afternoon on opening day this Saturday, February 7. There will be music, giveaways, and raffle prizes!
