I specialize in Sapphire and Emerald, but I always have a little of whatever I find to be fine quality for a great price; Tsavorite, Blue Zircon, Ruby, and all kinds of matched pairs. I work in CAD/CAM, which means I design custom jewelry to the clients request and mill the design in wax, which is the first part of the jewelry making process.

I haven't posted anything in a while, but working on projects everyday. Here is something I finished this morning that was commissioned by a local jewelry store.

Ring making process 05/13/2016

This is a ring I made a few years ago for my friends, Jacob and Aileen Tedrow. Jacob and I met in my office and picked a princess cut diamond from a selecton that I had brought in. He had a design in mind that I made on my computer. After the design was approved, I milled the design into a wax.
These pics show the 3 phases of the ring making process. First the wax is made, then it is cast into metal, Then the stones are set and the ring is polished.
