Josiah Bogle

y Josiah Bogle. Josiah jumped headfirst into playing music at 13 when his passion for singing prompted him to start a paper route to save up for his first guitar. The guitar was a vehicle to perform his favorite songs and compose his own originals. Josiah's earliest musical inspiration was Elton John. Elton's blend of Rock & Roll, Blues/Gospel and Pop is a major influence seen in Josiah’s own compositions. Songs like H***y Cat, Burn Down the Mission, Susie (Dramas) and Philadelphia Freedom were definitive in his development as a singer. Other majorly influential artists are Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, Sting and Freddie Mercury. Paul McCartney in particular is one of his musical heroes, both as a singer/songwriter and bass player. Josiah has performed professionally for 15 years in multiple roles as a solo artist, lead singer, and bassist for former bands Sub-Motive, The British Beats, and Shaggy Sweet. You can find Josiah performing every weekend and some weekdays in clubs, pubs, and events around the Seattle area.
