Yes I am very sad about it.

No there's nothing I can do.

No I can't see a doctor yet because I can't afford one.

Yes I spent everything I had on rent to keep this place open. I couldn't eat regularly and now suffering the consequences of malnourishment.

Yes it is painful. I have extreme nerve pain all the time, I can't
I haven't been able to hold ANY weight with my dominant arm since November.

No I can't get another job. I don't have the skills for typical WFH jobs and some days my body is too bad to do anything. When the nerve pain is screaming, I can't even understand what people are saying to me. I will have to continue being self employed but that will be in an artist capacity henceforth.

No I can't get on disability right now. That takes years and doctors. Self employed people can't even get unemployment, they had to make special C19 rules to include us in the unemployment systems. (In Texas)

No I don't know where I'm going to live yet. But that is the next thing I have to tackle after I close up shop.

Yes this is why small businesses are closing left and right.

I have inserted this article before continuing with the MLK letter because I do not want anyone to misconstrue my meaning in highlighting this quote. MLK is on the side of freedom fighters, against unjust laws, and against segregation and apartheid... all things people are arguing about today. Just because he said he would support his Jewish brethren in WW2, does not mean he would be "Team Izzy" today.
