Looking forward to an informative presentation this Thursday from our very own Marc Chavez, CSI CCS, CCCA AIA SCIP and Beth Stroshane,CSI CCS. They will address the changing role of the Specifier in the construction industry with the presentation they presented at last fall's Institute Convention. Walk ins are welcome!

Don't put off registering for the February 13 Chapter Meeting: Putting Your Best Foot Forward! After Monday, February 10, tickets will cost an additional $10. Lunch 11:30am, Program 12-1pm. Vanna Novak, a nationally recognized keynote speaker and seminar leader on persuasive presentation skills and skills to build quality work relationships will present.

Don't forget to register for the last meeting of 2013! This meeting will also feature a silent action benefiting Northwest Harvest. Brian Nelson of WSDOT will discuss Bertha's progress on the SR 99/Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement tunneling project. This Thursday December 12th. Hope to see you there!

Save the date! Our next dinner is a joint meeting with our friends at the Painting and Decorating Contractor’s Association (PDCA) on November 14th. It will be a panel discussion exploring the value of communication titled Working Effectively as a Construction Team. Happy hour starts at 5:00!
