Our firm was honored with 9 "Goldie" Peer Choice Awards this weekend for Campaign Excellence on State Legislative and Local races on behalf of T'wina Nobles, Liz Berry, Roder-Hitchen and Friends of Ryan Mello. We are thrilled to spotlight the amazing work of Eileen Pollet of Ravenna Strategies, Rowley (and his dream team of Kati and Maddie) of Messaging, and our absolute rockstar champ of a designer, Kristine Kaylor of KaylorMade Design.

Their work product last year was stellar and these awards are really a reflection of their talent and hard work. And of course, big recognition to the candidates who inspire us to do this work (and then brag shamelessly about it afterward)! We appreciate you so much!

Excited to be working with Anne Artman for Tacoma City Council!

I am excited to share with you that today I officially announced my run for Tacoma City Council District 5.
For the past two decades, I have served those most in need in our community at the Multicultural Children and Family Hope Center and the non-profit I founded in 2014, the Tacoma Recovery Center. Now more than ever, as Tacoma struggles with a behavioral health, housing and addiction crisis we need experience and leadership like mine on the City Council.

Tacoma has been home to me since I first moved here in 1968 after my father was stationed at Fort Lewis. I grew up attending Tacoma Public Schools and have over the years developed a deep connection to this community. As a single mother, I raised my son in Tacoma’s District 5, and saw first-hand the challenges of families with limited resources for affordable housing, transportation, education, daycare and healthy meals. Now as a service provider, I am seeing families continue to experience these same challenges, which are greatly being compounded by the impact of Covid-19.

I am running to bring the same problem-solving skills and dedication I bring to my work at Tacoma Recovery Center to the Tacoma City Council and the challenges facing our City.

I’ve been preparing for this race for years, investing in my community and building the knowledge base and expertise that will guide me as a councilmember. When I founded the Recovery Center, I did so because I saw a problem that needed to be fixed and just like then I am ready to go to work to solve the problems that are facing our city now.

We are growing again! We are growing! Welcome to the 2020 campaign cycle our newest Compliance and Campaign Assistant, Caleb Sherman!

Caleb Sherman is a Seattle native, whose love of backpacking and the outdoors has led him to environmental advocacy. His interest in writing made him a Rhetoric, Writing, and Public Discourse major at Whitman College, where he is a Junior. He is focusing on the way that the presentation of political ideas is almost as important as the ideas themselves when trying to make a change. He looks forward to a career in public advocacy.
