plan for her teenage bedroom, picked the perfect purple paint, and bedding to match. Needless to say, when it came time to decide what to major in at college, design felt like a natural calling. After graduating from University of Georgia with a degree in Interior Design, Lauren headed to Atlanta where she worked for a luxury custom furniture company in design and production. Following that, she worked on custom kitchen and bath projects in $1M+ homes in the Buckhead, Vinings, and West Paces neighborhoods of Atlanta. After moving to San Francisco, Lauren launched Studio Chu and she's been designing ever since. With ten years experience in design, both to-the-trade and residential, what she loves most is helping people create homes that are not only aesthetically appealing but that are functional.
