Tacoma Comedy Underground is Tacoma's original comedy club, founded in 2000. Located at the Big Whiskey Saloon, we feature cutting edge comedy by regional and national performers. With just 100 seats, we're an intimate operation perfect for what we offer.
ON THE 2ND DAY OF XMAS, OUR TRUE FRIEND GAVE TO THEE -- Six recording artists! David Drozen of Uproar CD (formerly Uproar Records) is best known for discovering Richard Pryor. His other great discovery is probably the Comedy Underground as the perfect recording venue.
Dating back to 2009, David has recorded the majority of his new discoveries right here, generally about six acts a year. His Seattle visits have also resulted in Uproar signing and promoting local acts like Brett Hamil and Travis Simmons.
Tonight thru Saturday, Steven Briggs will be making his northwest debut here with "tape rolling". Come be part of this ongoing special occasion.

We finally were able to reopen last weekend after a terrible flooding accident by the City of Tacoma shut us down in November. Top touring comedienne Monique Marvez will be here for the first time this Saturday.
