Wa-Care is working to change Washington State law so ALL adult adoptees can get their original birth certificate, just like non-adoptees. We believe all adult adoptees deserve their original birth certficate without restrictions. If you were adopted in WA, live in WA, or believe all adoptees have a right to their own identity, then 'like' the Wa-Care page.

If you're searching for your biological family, be sure to join our Yahoo group, Northwest Adoption Search & Reunion (NWASR). We have awesome search angels who are experts in searching Washington, Oregon, California, etc. All help is free.
When you submit your request to join the Yahoo group, you should automatically receive an email w/ an application. YOU MUST COMPLETE THAT APP AND SEND IT BACK TO US in order for us to approve your membership request!!
If you don't get the email w/ application, send us an email and we'll send one to you.

Anyone else get their OBC this week? And was anything redacted on the birth cert? The new law has NOTHING in it about anything being redacted so we need to know what most people are seeing. Thanks!!
