Butter is going to be a big sister soon! And she’s wagging about all the great tools and info she and her parents learned to help the family welcome a new (human) baby. Congratulations, Butter, Mom and Dad! 🍼🐾💛
✨Every dog is a teacher✨ Ranger reminds us that dogs can be sophisticated and still have plenty of growing up to do. When a dog holds opposite qualities like this, it’s important to support both sides of who they are as they learn.📝This boy had us 🤭 cracking up 🤣 while he worked on new life skills and practiced being more respectful of people’s space, clothing, and personal belongings.😅 The photo of him on his back was after a good dose of mental exercise.
To love and care for a dog throughout their lifespan is a profound kind of mothering. Happy Mother’s Day to the dog moms. 💛
❤️ Oh, how we love working with people and their older dogs. ❤️ Meet Gryphon. At 15.5 years old, this sweet boy has developed some new unsettled behaviors over the last year, and his Mom and Dad brought him to Sensitive Dog for support.
As dogs age, behavior changes are often connected to much more than “getting old.” Changes in vision, hearing, sleep cycles, cognition, physical comfort, anxiety levels, and overall nervous system health can all influence how a dog experiences the world.
We were so happy to help Gryphon’s family better understand what may be contributing to these changes and give them lots of meaningful tools and strategies to help their adorable boy live his very best life during these precious senior years. ❤️
If you’ve been wondering how to improve your older dog’s quality of life, we’d love to help.
Meet Bowser! Bowser came from a home with many dogs and hadn’t left the property for a year and a half. He hadn’t met visitors and had no formal training. Now he’s adjusting to a completely new life with a loving family in the city, and we’re so glad to support them as they help him make sense of it all. 💭
