The How!

- By using active industry professionals as volunteers & guest speakers we provide students with a network of direct potential job contacts.
- Trained volunteers with culinary backgrounds support already established in-school programming offering tips, advice, support and hopefully a lot of fun.
- With 1-4 volunteers for each class time knowfood supports the reduction of student-to-adult ratios, supplementing SPS with more face-to-face learning time.
- knowfood can connect the educational community at large with the restaurant industry at large, providing access to resources SPS does not traditionally have. The Who!

- knowfood is a state accredited non profit organization waiting for federal 501(c)(3) tax status.
- For now, me! Joe Rieke, executive director, programs manager, solo volunteer, guy in charge… you get the picture.
- But! I have a ton of help, but not in official capacity, just you wait though and watch us grow!
