Hello everyone,
I'm happy to announce that I have a new landing Page for my business! I’m a personal chef looking for new individuals and families to cook for on a bi-weekly and monthly basis. I’m a former long-time resident of Seattle and now a settler of Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Shout out to Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Chemainus, Duncan, and Lake Cowichan residents.

Seattle friends, I travel down often and I’ll be posting my available dates. The same goes for my Vancouver friends, I will be ferry-ing back to the mainland often and I'm still available for regular bookings.

I offer meal-prep services, private cooking lessons, and kitchen optimization i.e. clean, purge, and rearrange your kitchen. If you have utilized any of my services in the past, please consider leaving a review on my page.

A dear friend, who is a disabled, low income QTPOC needs financial help. They wish to remain anonymous, while a few of us pool together some funds. They are being forced out of their long-term home, by a landlord’s relentless campaign, because she didn’t want to repair/replace an appliance, broken by normal wear and tear. 

To be clear, the landlord lives in the same house and it appears that she has been harboring passive aggressive feelings towards our friend for severals years, and only recently expressing her true feelings after our friend asked for a working washing machine!!!

Soon after the initial conversation and subsequent blow out, she began a relentless campaign of aggressive emails and letters. There were suddenly new and restrictive rules, invasive inspections, and threats of eviction. It was all too clear that she wanted to force our friend out by making living there unbearable. This is a situation where tenant’s rights could only go so far, because imagine trying to continue living below someone who doesn’t want you there.

The timing is extra bad, due to an injury that has further reduced our friend’s ability to earn money.  They are now facing the added cost of a move, on top of their usual struggle to get by with a low income.  If you are able to help, please donate. Thank you!
