Dear The Tin Table patrons,

As you may have heard, Century Ballroom will be closing its doors at the end of March and handing the reins over the Wilder Ventures to keep the dancing alive.

In June, The Tin Table will be taken over by Sander Raav, our Bar Manager. There will be a name change, and the focus will be on the bar side, and less on the food offerings.

Please join us once (or many times), over the next couple of months, to enjoy the eats and drinks, (especially the fl**zy burger), and say hello.

I will still be teaching for the new owners; therefore, you will still find me sitting at the bar with friends having drinks and snacks.

I do know that in Sander’s hands it will remain a great place to grab a drink and catch up with friends.

This weekend’s drink special is as iconic as The Century Ballroom itself. “Fin de Siècle,” which translates to “End of the Century,” is our twist on a martini. We hope it lingers in your memory as long as the cherished memories of Century Ballroom.

The Tin Table will be open all weekend with extended hours. Come in a toast the many years of great memories!

“Century Ballroom’s 28th anniversary is like no other: it’s our last.

We want to come together to celebrate all of us: Century Ballroom, The Tin Table, and West Hall. We want to share stories and remember what this place has meant to all of us.

Will it be your best night of dancing? Perhaps not, but we hope it will be a night you will always remember, and the coming together of our larger dance community.

I remember when we were young, our worlds collided at the anniversary parties. We witnessed other dance forms, learned new dances and met new people.

We are asking you to come out for us and for you, so you can say goodbye, and to celebrate the ending of an era. (Note: the anniversary is NOT our last night, it’s just the last big celebration.)

We will start on Friday, 2/28, and end on Sunday night, 3/2. We’ll move from room to room. We’ll have some earlier dance times, and some late-night dances.

As we figure out the (complicated) puzzle of events, we’ll update the website and our FB/IG pages.
