We had a very successful Earth Week here at Earth Creative! With events throughout the week including a fundraiser at the Karoo Cafe on the 19th where we met out donation goal, and our first event at a school at Nathan Hale High School on Earth day, the 22nd! We are looking forward to connecting more with students and communities! Please reach out if you would like to connect with us!

This past weekend, Earth Creative Executive Director Christophe Chagnard received an Emmy for composing original music for the film “Descent” about the disappearance of the coral reef off the coast of Florida. Congrats Christophe!!

It is with great sadness that we share that Earth Creative Artist Gary Faigin passed away last month. Gary was an important and vibrant member of Earth Creative and he will be missed. A remembrance for him will be held Wednesday, Nov 19 from 5-7 PM at Town Hall Seattle: 1119 8th Avenue

Earth Creative Artist Rebecca Meloy has won Best in Show at the Center for the Arts Evergreen's 52nd Rocky Mountain Watermedia Exhibition with her work "Willamette"

Rebecca's statement: "The river running through the Willamette Valley is near Rebecca’s childhood home located in the Scandinavian farm community of Junction City Oregon. Many times it broke its’ banks and caused flooding around the 1960’s ranch-style home her father had built. She remembers riding fearfully in a car and in the school bus through the flood waters, seeing fish swimming on her patio, and watching the neighbor’s circling her house with their boat."
