❗️UPDATE ❗️With the merge of F-factor and Ruby Room under the Ruby Room name, we'll no longer be using this account. To stay in the know of what we're up to, give Ruby Room a like!

F-factor was born from the passion to support foster youth, created by our Executive Director Ellen Young back in 2006, growing and operating since. With the urgent, ongoing need to support Washington State youth living in foster care and experiencing homelessness, we at F-factor recognize the potential we have to serve more youth at-risk and to provide everyday necessities, but only in partnership with our sister organization, Ruby Room.
As a result, we’re thrilled to announce and debut the merge of Ruby Room and F-factor, under the Ruby Room name.
The new organization brings together a variety of fashion-driven workshops, personal styling services, formal clothing selection programs, a bespoke annual fashion show and more. Formerly two organizations, both inspired by the power of fashion, Ruby Room and F-factor joined forces in 2016.
Ruby Room empowers youth through fashion by channeling the strength of personal style as a tool for building self-confidence.

As we close out the year, we want to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated to our Giving Tuesday and Virtual Giving Tree programs. With your help, we gifted more than 1,360 toys, clothes, shoes, blankets, arts and crafts, books and face masks to foster youth and youth experiencing homelessness for a warm holiday season.
In partnership with The Beyond Project, we gifted 100 haircuts for foster children! Working together we also gifted more than 1,000 pieces of Thrive Causemetics to fill stockings and individual care packages for social workers and shelter employees as a way to say “thank you” for their hard work and continuing to provide essential services through this pandemic.
