From parking deck to roof in just over two months at our Madison Valley project with The Velmeir Companies. With challenging site conditions and a tight timeline, SMS and the whole design team worked with Redhawk Group and Mitsui Home Canada to utilize panelized wall, floor, roof, and stair systems in lieu of traditional stick-framing as originally designed. This system was not chosen until well into construction, but we successfully matched both the permitted drawings and design intent within the manufacturing requirements of each panel. Additional coordination up front from the whole team paid off with savings on time, money, and labor on the back end due to the speed at which the framing was installed.
