Lopez Design Studio
Our main office in Seattle is where most of our design team works their magic designing beautiful spaces.
However, for our Lopez Island projects the design team often need a working space off the jobsite where they can meet with the clients on the island.
These photos were taken in our "satellite design studio" where Mike and Kim met with current clients to go through material selection. The studio may not have everything we need at our fingertips like our Seattle office, but it is a space that is full of creativity and inspiration.

In this first installment Joe explains his views on the essential nature of benches as connective entities. Their ability to quietly bring about social interaction and strengthen communities in the process.
This bench –outside the JAS offices on 36th and Wallingford– is a massive salvage timber that has become a fixture for both the company and Wallingford neighborhood.
