My foundations as an artist is deeply rooted in the practice of exploration and observation of life. Optimistic with a self-awareness of my limited understanding of the world around me and a desire to see more. To do that, I’ve had to push my mind to connect, receive, and express though the output of creation. Curiosity through collaboration. I can work with you, paint you, see you.

These portraits are the artifacts of my journey in that practice. All done while in college, the experience of painting someone as they sit for you is transformative. It’s a dance between you and them to capture what is felt. The unseen. It pushes the eye, warms the heart, and intensely focuses the mind. You become entangled in a cosmic dance of connection with your fellow humans.

Paper, pencil, crayons, markers, paint, pixels, vectors, tech, AI, whatever….I’m wide open…I’ve been this way my whole life. I’m here for the emotions and experiences.
