Getting a little closer, main construction on the table is done, time to put on a podcast and sand my little heart out.

Commission build. MCM variation on a trestle table, with each side acting like a screen consisting of three panels. Mocking up the dimensions and seeing how it interacts with the accompanying bench.

Just got a new workshop set up, and starting making a thing. Fun to see Junie’s silhouette on a piece of furniture again.

Lots going on in the shop these past weeks and little time to post! The desk is getting close, but needed to add a door in the desktop for cable management and storage. Used soss hinges to keep the profile low, and cut in an access port for cables. I also love how nearly centered the knot in the grain in for this feature!
