May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and your moles deserve a closer look. 🤎

Melanoma is one of the most serious skin cancers, but when caught early it’s also one of the most treatable! The trick is knowing what to look for.

Meet the ABCDEs of melanoma:

A - Asymmetry: one half doesn’t match the other
B - Border: edges are irregular, ragged, or blurred
C - Color: multiple shades of brown, black, red, or blue D - Diameter: larger than 6mm (about a pencil eraser) E - Evolution: changing in size, shape, color, or feel

A healthy mole is symmetrical, smooth-bordered, one consistent color, and stays the same over time. Anything new, changing, or “just different” is worth a closer look.
