Resilience Matters is a two-day virtual training that explores how building codes and design strategies support emergency response, occupant safety, and post-event recovery. This is the third session in the 2026 Code Matters Series presented by AIA Seattle’s Code Committee.
Topics will include fire safety, seismic resilience, emergency egress, emergency planning, re-entry protocols, and long-term recovery considerations. In collaboration with AIA Seattle’s Adaptation and Resilience Committee, this session will highlight how design professionals can contribute to safer, more adaptable buildings in the face of natural and human-made hazards.
