An unexpected cancer diagnosis for a child can often mean a sudden relocation to Seattle in order to receive needed specialized treatment. Many families can’t afford the living costs associated with this transition. Maple Leaf Property Management has been a core partner since the very beginning of Home Together. They have supported us immensely through administrative support, bookkeeping, office support and generous financial donations.

We just hopped over the halfway mark to meeting our $20,000 year-end goal to fully subsidize one month's rent and utilities for 9 pediatric cancer families! This family of 5 from Alaska relocated to Seattle this summer for treatment at Seattle Children's. At the Kelly House, they have room to spread out toys and art projects, make home-cooked meals and cuddle up on the couch, giving them a sense of normalcy during the hard days of treatment.
