As I prepare for my Ironman race coming up in October, one of the key areas I’m trying to improve is my power in my legs which will generate more speed and endurance.

A great workout to do this is by doing sprint repeats to build explosiveness.

These boxes are perfect for my shuttle run sprints.

Today in Southern California I raced my first criterium. I was terrible nervous learning that this race was 30 minutes long, and the whole time my heart rate was going to be above 175 for 30 minutes. Can you say Redline!

Thanks for the great advice - to stay in front the whole time.
