"I am a returning college student after spending several years in the workforce. I’ve had a variety of jobs, from being a painter to a cook to bookkeeping, and plenty in between. When my son was born it became very urgent that I find myself a good career, unfortunately I didn’t have much of an education that is necessary to get to where I want to go in life and make a decent living in the process. I decided to pursue chemical engineering because I am very concerned with the negative effects of global warming and decided that my best shot at balancing my needs, wants, and goals would be best served with an education in this field."
