Gallery of the Day: Nostalgic Renaissance in Seattle’s Wedgwood Neighborhood.
Whenever I begin my nightly residential noire photowalk the ambience of nostalgia and moodiness arrives. The once filled streets of people driving to work for the day, kids and teenagers walking/biking to and from school, and birds chirping from early morning to a day’s end becomes majestically beautiful to me. Street lights producing small pockets of light for me to capture a moment.
Every time, I stroll pass cozy homes with a singular light on it makes me think who’s behind that window? What are they up to? Is anyone even in the house? Thousands and thousands of different lifestyles, personalities, and ambiences contained behind all doors.

Gallery of the Day: Got a little antsy decided to keep it short and do a little photo walk with trusty camera and get some shots to a day’s end at Enatai Beach Park to remind myself that spring and summer are nearly here for those cotton candy and sherbet ice cream sunsets. While listening to some tunes on a desolate bench gazing at the moon’s crescent full of ancient mysticism and beauty. Hidden euphoria awaiting to be gazed upon.

Gallery of the Day: “Follow the Light, Stay in the Shadows”
This is one of moto’s I try to live by while adventuring the urban streets of Seattle’s neighborhoods after the sunlight goes down. Different seasons make for a variety of scheduled times that the natural light begins to vanquish. In the summer it may be as late as 10pm and in winter as early as 4pm. This gap of 6 hours can make all the difference when exploring the known and the unknown.
To me roaming the residential streets of various neighborhoods makes for some interesting encounters or incidents. Always having a plan, knowledge of the area, and the most important rule…paying attention of your surroundings from the streets afar to the next corner of a building. I’ve learned with hundreds of hours being out alone that you never want to be putting yourself in a vulnerable situation. Even if you think you know the area, what you should be questioning is “who else” is lurking around at this time and what their intentions could be…

Gallery of the Day: This is a cool collection of photos from the Smithsonian National Museum of American History consisting of different pop culture items from old hollywood props, vintage food packaging, and technology throughout our history as a country.
I love learning and seeing accumulated old stuff regardless of the category. America, the country of cheeseburgers with a side of bottomless coke refills, golden films that made childhood memories, and technology advancing at a rate so fast we can’t keep up with.
