Go ahead and have that difficult conversation; ask the hard questions. Maybe you will find out things are as bad as you thought they were, or maybe you will find out that you can clear up a misunderstanding that is making the issue cloudy for everyone. Bring the issue into the open. Examine it in the light. Face it head on and move on.

Remember: self-care doesn't have to be time-consuming or expensive. It can be, but it doesn't have to be. Spending 5 minutes alone with a cup of tea before the kids wake can be enough if you do it with intention.

I don't have everything I want, but I have everything I need. I have problems and frustrations. Things occasionally do not turn out the way I would prefer. But a lot of things go my way - if not from the start, then eventually. I have family and friends I love and who love me. All in all, I love my life.
