Crispy yet soft bhatura bread is typically paired with spicy chole and served as breakfast and sometimes also for dinner. This Chole Bhature hails from the state of Punjab but has gained popularity across the world.

Pro Tip for instant Bhatura: If you want to make instant bhatura, knead your flour(maida) with soda. You can call it sparkling water, club soda, seltzer, Perrier, soda water, or fizzy water.

Chana Pataka | Chana Roasted

The tasty channa pataka can be part of a meal or a simple evening snack. Enjoy it with a cup of tea or coffee.

Ingredients:
* 1 cup Brown chickpeas (kaala chana)
* Pinch baking soda
* Oil for frying
* Punjabi Chat Masala (1/4 tsp Amchur masala, 1/4 tsp Garam masala, 1/4 tsp Black pepper powder, Pinch of red chilli powder, Jeera powder, 2 clove)

How to make Chana Pataka?

* Wash and soak the gram with baking soda for 8-10 hrs or overnight. Drain the water. Spread the gram on the kitchen towel and samp it. It should not be totally dried.
•Add oil in the pan on low flame. One the oil get hot add gram. Fry it till it get crisp and become light. Automatically it float
•Take out on Kitchen towel. When access oil absorbs take it in a bowl. Get masala ready.
•Put masala on fried chana. Mix it. Chana pataka is Ready.
