This is more than a closing, it’s a sacred celebration of what has been — and a vision offering for what’s ahead of us.

On Saturday, September 27th, 11AM–2PM at WOW Gallery (Pacific Place), we gather for Sankofa: The Closing Celebration.

Together we will honor the art, healing, and community that have carried sacred space and energy within these walls, while lifting our hearts toward the future of WOW International.

The afternoon will flow with reflection, live music, and powerful words from Veronica Very, Hiawatha D, CC Garner Gleser, K. Wyking Garrett, and Zoey McLaughlin, with soul-stirring music setting the atmosphere by the incomparable Mona Terry and Lesa Terry—culminating in a community-centered breath and blessing led by Heru TchassAmen.

We will also celebrate the birthday of our Co-Founder & Art Director Hiawatha D—a celebration within the celebration.
