Found the condo. Love the light. Love the layout. But is the building actually financeable?

Before you get attached, ask for the HOA budget, reserve study, insurance summary, meeting notes, and rental rules. Those docs can change your loan options fast.

In Seattle, I usually see condo financing issues show up in the building paperwork long before closing day.
