What are the odds I’d end up celebrating my birthday the same week as the live painter’s daughter? (And we’re the same age?!) ☄️

Running on four hours of sleep, I almost skipped going out, but something told me I had to go—and I’m so glad I did. Despite being exhausted, I waited nearly an hour for an outdoor table and ended up sitting next to Wisdom, the super talented, most genuine and kind artist who painted the entire night…

I’ve spent so much time alone past few years that I’ve started feeling invisible, but this night, the owner, bartenders, Wisdom, and everyone around made me feel so seen and celebrated. Sometimes, all you need is that connection with someone who shares your passion. :)

Here’s to living for more moments like this. Your girl is eternally grateful for this precious life. 🤍🌌

Please, if you’re ever in LA, treat yourself at this place on a Wednesday night. I swear the place isn’t the same without Wisdom.
