Meet our first artist!!
Brian Fisher, a long time islander creates layered compositions of shape and describing line; colorful juxtapositions of form and abstraction that appear simultaneously lyrical and graphically formal. Â His mediums include print, painting and sculpture.
He is represented by Roby King Galleries of Winslow, Bainbridge Island and Vashon Center for the Arts’ “Notable Collection” on Vashon Island. Fisher is a member of Seattle Print Arts, Vashon's Quartermaster Press, and is current president of VIVA, Vashon Island Visual Artists. He also teaches printmaking from his studio on Vashon Island.
This collection “Vashon Canopy” includes 6 cards and was inspired by the various leaves and trees that can be found in the Canopy that covers Vashon island.
