“Jellystone” — an ambient piece

I’ve teased parts of this for different stories but here it finally is, fully realized. All footage is from Gardiner, MT and also in Yellowstone park (I’ve known I was gonna use these images for a while, finally got around to doing it). Gardiner is located on the East end of what’s called Paradise Valley—home of John Mayer—and it’s a very small town with access to the Park’s Northernmost entrance. It’s also the home of my grandpa, who lives in a house up on a tall ridge overlooking the town. Elk and Bison walk through his yard as they leave the park in search of grazing land. The landscape is beautiful and I’ve been in love with it ever since I first visited. Dedicated to my grandad, the town of Gardiner, and the beautiful (mostly) state of Montana.
