ery mid-century modern fanatic dreams about. It all started when we began renovating mid-century modern homes in Los Angeles, Oakland and Seattle, drove 1,000 miles to pick up an original 1956 Eames lounge chair, and with a bit of luck, accumulated a lifetime of conversational hors d'oeuvres.

In our other lives, I, Kay (the husband), work as a Creative Director in advertising and design, and have spent the last 10 years photographing, directing, and staging award-winning commercials and ads. My wife, Patty spent most of her life in the hospitality industry, specifically marketing, rebranding and elevating luxury hotels and experiences in Asia and North America.

We founded Social Objects as a place for us to do the things we really love, for the people we know will appreciate the work we do. We also hope to include our baby boy, Adler, along our journey and create a lifetime of memories in furniture, art, and design.

Our little family lives in a 1956 mid-century modern home in Seward Park, Seattle and often utilizes our own space to spark creativity in furniture restoration and staging.
