It just became the King's Dojo.

Just kidding...

Fun fact: came up with the name The Queen's Dojo.

All his idea. So if you love the name y'all can thank Coach Josh for his cleverness.

The inclusiveness of our space is because there is support regardless of "societal norms."

There is grace and understanding in what we do and how we do it. Coach Josh has been training since he could walk. He's incredibly accomplished in the world of striking.

He's currently a 5th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate. He wrestled, competed in wrestling, kickboxing and karate -competitively, as a youth to a young adult.

He's been teaching and coaching since he was 15 years old, with a special passion for teaching kids.

He's learned directly from who is the founder and creator of

A school that has just celebrated 38 years of service to the San Diego community.

6th degree Black Belt, Professor of the Arts

Congratulations to

In the midst of all our crazy chaos. He's been around and back.

Most recently, Josh was supporting teams coming through for USA Boxing nationals.

He's been instrumental to creating a boxing environment in West Texas everyone wants to be a part of.

As a Tier 2 official for USA boxing, officiating over 300 fights, a black belt at the age of 15, wrestling out in Poway and competing since he could walk, Coach Josh has an extensive resume in the martial arts space.

He currently serves on the West Texas Board of Directors. He created the Boxing Team out of Lubbock Boxing Club and is highly regarded and respected in this space.

In the midst of nationals, he came back to Seattle to support our own team and from here flew to San Diego to receive his 6th degree black belt in Kenpo Karate. He is now a Professor of the Arts.

Congratulations Coach Josh! Thank you for your dedication to the arts, for sharing your knowledge, and teaching us how to be better, more proficient martial artists.

We are lucky and blessed to have you. Congratulations for all you continue to do for our community and the many more you have your hands on.
