STOP CREATING daily schedule’s that only book time for work, exercise, and task you “HAVE” to do.

Imagine spending time with your best friend; someone who provides two core values to the relationship: 1) Challenges you to move the needle in your life and 2) Makes adequate time to do things you both enjoy that doesn’t move the needle like going to concerts, making dinner, movie nights, etc.

Now imagine the relationship you had with a teacher or boss or parent who was only ever a dick making you do things like homework, more paperwork, only things you never wanted to do but moved the needle… and they never opened up in a fun or friendly way. Probably wanted to ditch them ASAP.

Same goes with your schedule: if your planner only tells you to do the hard things you must do to keep moving the needle like study, run, take a cold shower, wake up early, make the sales call, door knock, etc you won’t have a very good relationship with your schedule and you’ll quickly ditch the damn schedule all together.

BUILD IN FUN TIME TO YOUR SCHEDULE!!!

Build a schedule that physically says “10 minute break” at the top of each hour throughout a task. Write what you want to do like play with your dog, play wii golf, scroll on IG, walk to the deli down the road for lunch, watch YouTube, walk around the office… WHATEVER you do to just chillax and be at ease.

If you don’t respect your own time, you’ll burn out. Build in this yin Yang habit with your schedule and your relationship with your schedule will change and ultimately your productivity will improve.

I find myself making assumptions on personalities based on face similarity of people I grew up with in high school. Or even having the same name as someone I went to high school with. Anyone relate?

Making assumptions about someone OR A SITUATION can be extremely damaging to not only someone else, but yourself..

Everyone knows the “Thank you for your interest in this position, but we have decided to move on to other candidates. Please continue to check our website for blah blah blah…”

And we all know that “f**kkkkkk I didn’t get the job” 😔 feeling. How many of you, months later, landed a different job which has a great job environment or co-workers you wouldn’t trade the world for? Woulda never came to fruition had you landed the first job.

How about not finding your car keys and running late or when someone cuts you off in traffic. You have NO IDEA if that was the universe saying “sorry mate, had to slow you up 30 seconds or 5 minutes so you didn’t get in that car accident which would have taken your life…

Now, what about a person. Do you remember a time seeing someone at a party or a new face who was a friend of a friend who you immediately began to judge exactly who they would be from the start of looking at them or learning their name?

It is important to become extremely aware of when we put these bias’ on people or on situations before fully understanding what the outcome will (or will not) bring us or how well we will vibe with someone after having a conversation with them.

Give someone the benefit of the doubt today. ✌️&💛
